Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Assistant for a full-time home health role in Augusta, GA. You will work alongside Respiratory Therapists to support patient care, manage equipment, and help patients breathe easier in their homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail.
• 21 years old or older.
• Basic proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

Responsibilities

• Assist Respiratory Therapists with patient care and equipment setup.
• Perform home and oxygen assessments.
• Deliver, retrieve, clean, and maintain medical equipment.
• Educate patients on proper equipment use and safety.
• Ensure infection control, safety compliance, and Joint Commission standards are met.
• Complete accurate documentation and support quality improvement efforts
