Advanced Nursing Concepts in Ocala, FL is seeking a qualified RN for part-time PRN home health visits across the surrounding areas. The role requires adapting care plans, administering medications, teaching families, and coordinating with physicians while traveling to patient homes.

The ideal candidate is a Florida-licensed RN with CPR, 1–2 years acute care experience, and a willingness to travel. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Schedule: PRN, successful candidates will have 2-3 days of availability weekly from 7:00a-4:00p

• Mileage: Currently $0.60/mile

What You'll Do

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
• Current licensure in state and CPR certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, with one (1) year of home health care experience.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
• This position requires regular travel by personal vehicle between patient homes, the office, and other locations throughout the assigned service area. The clinician must hold a valid driver's license, maintain reliable transportation and current auto insurance, and be able to drive safely for extended periods in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Physical Demands

This role requires the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Prolonged walking and standing
• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Lifting, positioning, and transferring patients (with assistance for patients over 50 lbs, per agency safe-handling policy)
• Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to perform nursing duties

Health Requirements

Required before providing patient care:

• Pre-employment physical screening, or a letter from a recent healthcare encounter confirming the candidate is free of communicable disease
• Documented negative TB test (TST or TB blood test) taken within the past 12 months
• TB risk assessment and symptom evaluation upon hire
