Job summary

Benefis Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, coordinate, and document home health care for an assigned caseload in Montana. The role requires collaboration with physicians and a home health team to implement individualized plans in compliance with regulations and agency policies.

The ideal candidate holds Montana RN licensure, current BLS, and at least one year of acute care nursing experience; home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Montana.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license, current automobile insurance and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and document care for an assigned caseload of patients.
• Collaborate with the prescribing physician and home health care team to develop and implement a home health plan.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, reimbursement guidelines, and agency policies and procedures.
• Manage pressure to meet deadlines and handle diverse, stressful situations.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting care for an assigned caseload of patients. In conjunction with the prescribing physician and home health care team, develops and implements a home health plan that meets each patient's specific needs and is in compliance with federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines, as well as agency policies and procedures.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Montana.
• Current BLS.
• One-year acute care nursing experience.
• Prior experience in home health preferred.
• Valid state driver's license, current automobile insurance and reliable automobile.
