Job summary
PRIDE Health is seeking a local contract Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a 27-week assignment in Eufaula, Alabama. You will support patients in the home under a licensed Physical Therapist to improve mobility and functional independence.
Requirements include an accredited PTA program completion, Alabama PTA/LPTA license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, in a home health setting.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Alabama PTA/LPTA license.
- CPR certification current.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Execute prescribed therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide hands-on rehabilitation services, including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress to the supervising PT and care team.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety measures.
- Deliver high-quality care in home health while maintaining documentation.
