Job summary

VNA of Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health services in Florida. You will deliver therapy in patients' homes, implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida PTA license, have strong communication skills, and prefer flexible scheduling with local patient assignments. Home health experience is a plus, and competitive pay plus growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA License is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential for patient and caregiver education.
• Home health experience is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments in patient homes.
• Implement treatment plans established by supervising PT.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and self-management.
• Communicate changes to supervising therapist promptly.
• Complete accurate documentation of visits.
