Job summary

Projob LLC in Orlando and Vero Beach seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA will help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence in a home care setting.

The role requires an active Florida PTA license and 1 year of home health experience preferred. It is a 1099 per-visit contract with pay of $50 private and $55 Medicare per visit, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Active Florida license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services according to the established Plan of Care.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, endurance, and balance.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations.

Employment Type: 1099 Contract / Per Visit
