Job summary

Atlantic Visiting Nurse in Morris County, NJ is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist. The role requires 37.5 hours per week with one weekend every five to seven weeks.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PT experience and can work independently in an interdisciplinary setting to provide a broad range of physical therapy services at home. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, manual techniques, documentation, and collaboration with other professionals to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
• Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
• Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
• Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
• Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
• Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
• Works with other professionals in an effective manner.
• Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
