Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to support patients in their homes. Active PT license required; CAPTE-accredited education preferred. One year of PT experience in home health is desirable; less than one year may require regional mentoring approval.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice physical therapy in the state you work in.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of related PT experience for home health; approvals needed if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Conduct reexaminations at least every 30 days, modify interventions as needed, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
