Job summary

Deercreekseniorliving is seeking a contracted or employed physical therapist responsible for providing physical therapy services and adhering to the conditions outlined in the Personnel Services Agreement. The ideal candidate will possess experience and a degree in physical therapy, along with effective communication and organizational skills.

The therapist will work closely with patients, implementing rehabilitation plans as prescribed by physicians, evaluating their progress, and training caregivers in therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree from a baccalaureate or master’s program in physical therapy approved by an accredited organization.
• Be licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the state.
• Have at least two years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services according to a physician’s plan of care.
• Assess therapeutic and rehabilitative status of patients.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants according to policy and state regulations.
