Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The role supports patients in their homes with therapy plans and requires driving to Methuen, Dracut, Tewksbury and surrounding areas.

The PTA will work full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a typical 8-hour shift and a staff employment type. Remote work is not available, and dual MA/NH licensure is preferred for coverage areas.

Qualifications

Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
Valid license to practice in state of agency operation.
Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
Licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.

Responsibilities

Implement care plans and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist and physician.
Educate patients and families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety.
Travel to Methuen, Dracut, Tewksbury and surrounding areas as required.

Be able to implement care plans and communicate any findings or changes in regards to patients back to the Physical Therapist and physician
Ability to educate patients and their families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety

Required Certifications and Licensures:

Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
