Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for Scottsdale, Arizona. The PTA will work part-time under a licensed Physical Therapist to support clients in their homes, delivering treatments, education, and interventions aimed at maintaining or improving mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, documenting progress on a tablet, and collaborating with the PT and family members to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a two-year college PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing with treatment, tests, and client education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Educate clients, family members, and other caregivers in rehabilitative care and activities.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
• Contribute to high-quality home health care delivery in collaboration with the supervising PT.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a part time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Glendale Visits team. PTA’s assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as outlined by a licensed Physical Therapist. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality home health care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Coverage areas: Scottsdale, or Scottsdale/Phoenix

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Be partnered with an experienced and supportive home health Physical Therapist
• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical wellbeing by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement appropriate individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions
• Educate and instruct clients, family members, and other client representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management, utilizing a state-of-the‑art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a BAYADA Physical Therapy Assistants:

• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, OR
• Have two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
