Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for Riverton, New Jersey. The PTA will perform home health visits in Moorestown and surrounding Burlington and Camden County areas, supporting adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis.

Full-time or part-time position requiring NJ licensure and completion of an accredited PTA program. The role includes patient education, treatment under a Physical Therapist, and adherence to BAYADA’s standards and infection

Qualifications

• Must hold NJ licensure/certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Graduate from a two-year college level PTA program approved by the APTA.
• If qualification occurred before Dec 31, 1977, two years of PTA experience plus proficiency exam.
• At least one year of work experience under supervision of a PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform home health visits to adult and geriatric patients.
• Educate patients and families and document care per policy.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA, for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing home health visits for our Senior Living Facilities office, located in Moorestown, NJ.This office services adult and geriatric patients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Burlington and Camdem County.

As a home care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of New Jersey.
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.
