Deercreekseniorliving in Everett, WA is looking for a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct care as per the physical therapist's plan. This role offers flexible hours with the ability to set your own schedule.
The successful candidate will be responsible for treating patients, instructing them in the use of therapeutic devices, and maintaining clinical records. Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
Provides direct physical therapy according to the directions of the physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
Treats patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re‑education, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
Utilizes physical agents, including, but not limited to, heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage.
Observes and reports to the physical therapist and organization personnel the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in patient condition.
Instructs patients in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
Maintains necessary records; clinical notes and conference notes, which will be incorporated into the patient's clinical record within prescribed time frames.
Full‑time flexible hours between Monday through Friday with ability to set own schedule.
Hourly $35–$40 + mileage reimbursement.
