Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Little Elm, TX. The role focuses on evaluating patients in their homes, designing individualized treatment programs, and delivering evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The PT will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in TX (TX)
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and other therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and make recommendations to prevent falls or re-injury
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve greater independence
