Job summary

BioMechanics is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist on a contract basis to serve Bakersfield, CA (within 10 miles).

The role focuses on balance, strength, ROM, home safety, and equipment assessments, with 45-minute sessions, 2–3 visits per patient weekly, and caseloads of 1–7.

You will document progress using our patient-friendly software and work with mentorship and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Physical exam within the past year.
• Negative TB test.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.
• Focus on balance, strength, range of motion, home safety, and equipment assessments.
• Conduct 45-minute sessions, typically 2–3 visits per patient per week.
• Use user-friendly software to document sessions and track progress.
• Handle a caseload of 1 to 7 patients weekly, depending on your availability.
