Job summary

Suru Physical Therapy Inc. is seeking licensed PTAs to treat Suru patients in their homes across Southern California, including near Escondido. You will perform follow-up visits with a supervising physical therapist and manage visits via the Suru app.

This role operates as an independent contractor with weekly direct deposit for completed visits. Plans of care typically involve 2–3 visits per week over 12 weeks, with renewal opportunities when continued therapy is appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Work as a 1099 independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Treat follow-up visits in the patient’s home; a licensed physical therapist completes the evaluation and plan of care and is available for questions.
• Plans of care are usually 2–3 visits per week for 12 weeks and may be renewed when continued therapy is appropriate.
• Accept patients via Suru app and set visit times directly with the patient.
• Suru handles intake, insurance, evaluation, and billing.
• Dictate routine visit notes by voice, review, and submit in the app.

Suru provides outpatient physical therapy in patients' homes across Southern California. We're looking for licensed PTAs to treat Suru patients near where they live and work.

What the work looks like

• You treat follow-up visits in the patient's home. A licensed physical therapist completes the evaluation and plan of care and is available for your questions.
• Plans of care are usually 2-3 visits per week for 12 weeks, and are often renewed when continued therapy is appropriate, so you keep patients longer than a typical home health episode.
• When a patient near you needs visits, the Suru app notifies you. You choose which patients to accept and set visit times directly with the patient.
• Suru handles intake, insurance, the evaluation, and billing.
• Routine visit notes take about a minute: dictate by voice, review, and submit in the app.

Pay

• Paid per completed visit, comparable to home health.
• Direct deposit to your bank every week.

Requirements

• Active California PTA license
• Home health experience preferred
• A local business license (an LLC is not required)
• Work as a 1099 independent contractor
