Job summary

Advantage Home Health Services in State College, PA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide home-based therapy prescribed by physicians. This role focuses on helping patients regain and maintain independence in daily activities within their homes.

You will supervise assistants, collaborate with a healthcare team, and ensure services meet federal, state, and local standards. A valid OT license or eligibility is required, with opportunities for growth and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State Board of Occupational Therapy in the state in which practicing.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients as prescribed by the physician.
• Aid in the development of adoptive skills and performance capacities by individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities and related psychological or cognitive impairment.
• Maximize independence and to prevent further disability, as well as to maintain health.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and ensure quality and safe delivery of rehabilitation services.
• Ensure that occupational therapy services are provided in accordance with Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
