Job summary

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to perform home health visits across Marion and Florence counties, SC. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires.

Responsibilities include home visits, comprehensive evaluations, environment assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to maintain patient independence. Strong clinical skills and SC OT licensure are required.

Qualifications

• A current SC Occupational Therapist license.
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the AMA/AOTA.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ functional status, including ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects and develop intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards or barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Revise the care plan in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation activities for independence.
• Document observations and interventions using the tablet-based EMR.
