Job summary

The Lakes Home Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Florida. You will work in diverse settings, including outpatient patient homes, to help individuals enhance daily living and working skills.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic exercises, education for patients and families, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care in outpatient settings.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation.
• Strong ability to support activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Proven patient-centered care and communication.
• Experience in occupational health contexts preferred.
• Comfort working in clinic-style settings.
• Experience delivering home health services.
• Experience in acute care environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals.
