Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for home health in Ronceverte, WV. This full-time role features a $15k sign-on for external candidates and a supportive, patient-centered team environment.

You will evaluate and treat patients, set measurable goals, and collaborate with families and the care team to promote independence and safe home-based recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-approved Occupational Therapy Education program.
• Current OT licensure in the state; CPR certification required (may be offered on hire).
• Two years of adult occupational therapy experience; home health preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment per physician orders and adaptive equipment needs.
• Set measurable goals and develop plans to maximize independence/function.
• Maintain clear communication among the treatment team, patient, and family.
• Provide thorough, timely documentation for accurate billing.
• Supervise OT Assistants in patient care per state practice act.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, You will:

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment of patients based upon physician orders, including recommendation and procurement of adaptive equipment
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of independence and/or function
• Maintain communication among the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided to ensure proper billing
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Education program approved by CAPTE
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in State and American Heart Association CPR certification required; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire
• Two (2) years of experience in adult occupational therapy, home health experience preferred
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; physical therapy skills per competency checklist
