Job summary

PARS Therapy seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team in Central Austin, TX. You will evaluate patients, restore mobility, and promote independence in the comfort of patients’ homes.

Work with an interdisciplinary team to tailor interventions, educate families, and monitor progress, ensuring evidence-based, high-quality care for every patient we serve.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license (required).
• Current professional liability insurance (required).
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team in Central Austin, TX. In this role, you will partner closely with patients on their recovery journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. As a key member of our care team, you will focus on restoring mobility, enhancing functional abilities, and supporting long-term wellness. Your work will involve promoting health, preventing disability, and delivering hands-on interventions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Provide skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas (required)
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas (required)
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage a variety of patient personalities
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques
• Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
