Job summary

VNA Care in Needham is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our home health team on a weekday schedule, 24–40 hours, with no weekend shifts. You will perform home visits in and around Needham, Newton and Wellesley to provide care and support to patients in need.

Qualifications

• Completion of an LPN Program is required.
• Must be licensed to practice as an LPN in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Work 3 to 5 days per week Monday–Friday between 8a–4:30p with no weekend shifts.
• Provide care and assistance to patients with various medical needs including wounds, wound vacs, trach and suctioning, catheters, ostomies, CHF, COPD and diabetes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high quality patient care.
• Participate in an extensive Home Health orientation program with a preceptor in the field for 6–8 weeks and support from an Educator while learning EMR (Home Care Home Base).
