We offer free training to meet state CEU requirements and emphasize caregiver well-being. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with RNs, documenting patient progress, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe home care setting while traveling

Qualifications

1 year of experience as an LPN in home care
Current LPN license
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
CPR certification
TB test negative
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Excellent interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel locally

Responsibilities

Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with the RN and physician's plan of care
Accurately report and record patient condition and care
Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
Assist patient with activities of daily living and teach self-care techniques
Provide and maintain a safe environment for the patient
Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations
Follow universal precautions for patient care
Follow emergency procedures during catastrophic events
