Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare in San Antonio seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, helping them improve independence and safety in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Current Texas COTA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with ADLs, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
