Job summary

Millennium Therapy seeks both Full-Time and PRN Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) for Home Therapy settings in Waterloo, IA and Cedar Falls, IA. Staff operate in patient-centered, therapist-owned teams with flexible scheduling and strong communication to meet individual goals.

The positions offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, personal days, PTO, continuing education, and flexible scheduling. Licensure in the hiring state or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an AOTA accredited program and licensure in the hiring state or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate OTAs.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilizes effective time management skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screens, data collection, and direct treatment under supervision of the OT.
• Conduct resident screens (without interpretation) as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Participate in the clinical team process.
• Provide training to caregivers and participate in clinical program development.
• Collect assessment data as part of the evaluation process as directed by the OT supervisor.
