Deercreekseniorliving is seeking a Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) in Colorado Springs, CO to provide compassionate client care per the care plan. You will assist with bathing, ROM exercises, toileting, medications as directed, and ensure safety and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and basic math ability. CNA/MA is a plus, 18+ and fluent in English. A flexible work schedule and mileage reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to effectively communicate with client and office staff.
• Ability to read and write clear English.
• Able to compute basic mathematics.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent client care per care plan.
• Assist with ROM exercises, range of motion and muscle strengthening.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
• Turn and position the client as needed; monitor status and report changes.
• Monitor medications and ensure timing as directed by doctor.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic environment and report issues.

The Personal Care Attendant (caregiver) must have sensitivity for the needs of others, a professional manner, and a positive attitude. The Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) must feel comfortable caring for a client in a private home or setting. The Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) needs to report on time to scheduled shift unless specific circumstances come up.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide excellent client care including some or all of the following:Skin care maintenanceRange of motion (ROM) and muscle strengthening exercise to maintain optimal level of functioningAssist with toiletingAssist with bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene necessitiesTurning and positioning of the clientMonitoring and reporting changes in the client status to the Client Care Coordinator(s)Clocking in and out according to the direction and procedure assigned by the Client Care Coordinator(s)Dressing and undressing the clientArranging and managing medications to be taken as directed by doctorMonitoring for signs of any ailment and communicating such concerns to the officeMaintaining a hygienic environmentThe above statements are only meant to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by the employee of this job.
