Qualifications

• Experience in Home Health billing and collections.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing procedures.
• Proficiency in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and understanding of OASIS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims for home health services.
• Verify patient insurance information for claims.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or denials.

Skills

Home Health billing experience

Knowledge of Medicare procedures

Proficiency in medical coding

Familiarity with Inovalon and HCHB EMR

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate degree in healthcare administration or accounting
