Job summary

Eagle-Home-Care in New York is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist clients with daily living and personal care. You will help with bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments.

The role offers flexible hours, health insurance, and paid time off; NY HHA or PCA certification is required.

Qualifications

• HHA or PCA certification in NY is required.
• Compassionate, warm personality needed.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Accompany clients to errands, shopping and medical appointments.
• Provide companionship, empathy and emotional support.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Clean floors, do dishes, clean bathrooms, change linen, do laundry.
• Flexible hours; choose shifts that work for you.

Some responsibilities include:

Personal care

• Bathing, dressing, grooming etc.
• Meal and snack preparations
• Home Health aide should accompany patient on errands, shopping and medical appointments
• Provide companionship, empathy and basic emotional support
• Medication reminders

Housework

• Cleaning the floors ( mop , sweep , vacuum etc.)
• Washing dishes
• Cleaning the bathrooms
• Change the linen
• Laundry

Hours
