Job summary

Home Matters of Greater Boston West seeks a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to deliver in-home care across the Greater Boston West area. You will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support, while providing compassionate, client-centered care.

Flexible scheduling and specialized Alzheimer’s & dementia training are available. The role is in-person with day, evening, and overnight shifts, supported by 24/7 office assistance for caregivers.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Heart for compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience or training in dementia care is desirable.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
