Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health in Wilkes Barre is seeking dependable caregivers to join our locally focused team. As a Home Health Aide, you’ll help clients stay comfortable, safe, and independent at home by assisting with daily routines and providing companionship.

You’ll follow each client’s care plan, support bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping. We offer flexible scheduling, onboarding and training, biweekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, and respect for client privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to visits and timekeeping via smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client’s care plan and help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.

Pay, Scheduling, and Benefits

• Starting pay: $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer.


• Biweekly pay.
