Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide in‑home support for our Residents. The role involves assisting with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and safe transportation in residents’ homes.

Candidates must be able to work independently and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. Required: active PCA or HHA certificate, at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience working with seniors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability and stamina to work long hours.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family, staff and supervisors.
• Full physical annual with MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) and PPD/TB test (less than a year old).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and protection to residents in their homes.
• Assist residents with physical therapy exercises.
• Assist with meal preparation and daily meals.
• Transport residents in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform housekeeping duties within a residents home.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and have a pleasant and friendly personality. The caregiver must have a active PCA or HHA certificate.

Duties include but are not limited to:
