Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Paso Robles, CA to provide personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs under the plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, grooming, feeding, mobility, and routine tasks; taking vital signs when ordered; documenting care and reporting changes to the supervising nurse; and ensuring patient safety in the home setting. The role offers competitive pay and benefits, with weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assists patient with and per plan of care: baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Measures and records temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Ensures safe transfer and ambulation per care plan; assists with ROM and prescribed exercises.
• Performs extensional therapies as ordered and within competency.
• Documents patient condition and communicates changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
