Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior Home Health Aide experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, able to work independently night shifts.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with nighttime personal care needs including hygiene and mobility.
• Monitor patients’ conditions at night and report concerns.
• Provide medication reminders and support as needed.
• Offer companionship and reassurance during nighttime hours.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations per agency policies.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and infection control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with nighttime personal care needs including hygiene, mobility, and positioning.
• Monitor patients’ physical and emotional conditions throughout the night and report any concerns.
• Provide medication reminders and support as needed.
• Offer companionship and reassurance to patients during nighttime hours.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations in compliance with agency policies.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and infection control procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role preferred.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work independently during night shifts.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Availability to work part-time night shifts.
• Current or willingness to obtain Home Health Aide certification is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
