Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an entry-level patient care support specialist for home health and hospice in North King County. You will support care delivery under supervision, ensuring comfort and dignity for diverse patients while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.

The role requires a WA CNA license, current BLS, and solid interpersonal skills. A driver’s license is preferred to support mobility between patient locations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Washington State CNA license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Technical training in related field required.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred.
• One (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
• Driver License/Abstract.

This position will support home health and hospice services in North King County. FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: _M-F

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing support services, under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff that assist the client or family/caregiver in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort according to State and Federal Regulations. This is an entry-level patient care support position, working under limited supervision. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills for the purpose of supporting delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups. Independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED
• Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
• Current BLS certification
• Technical training in related field required
• Home health or hospice experience preferred
• One (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience
• Driver License/Abstract

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.61 - $39.01 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
