Overview
First In Care Home Health Agency, Inc. has openings for skilled and strong caregivers. We offer one-on-one care with individual clients and need caregivers for all shifts, including mornings, days, nights, overnights, weekdays, and weekends. Full-time positions are available, including 12‑hour shifts and weekends. Pay rate is based on experience and work history. Location: Parrish, FL.
Responsibilities
- Monitors patient condition by observing physical and mental status, intake and output, and exercise.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services; shops for food and other household items; prepares and serves meals and snacks; runs errands to support the patient.
- Assists patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Teaches patients to use aids (e.g., cane or walker) and utensils; demonstrates techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
- Educates family members on safe lifting, turning, repositioning, nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping to care for the patient at home.
- Records patient information in the patient journal and notifies the nursing supervisor of changes or unusual conditions.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following asepsis standards and procedures and adhering to dietary requirements.
- Updates job knowledge through educational opportunities provided by First In Care.
- Adheres to professional standards, home care policies, and federal, state, and local requirements to protect the agency and clients.
- Contributes to service reputation by taking ownership of tasks and seeking ways to add value to job performance.

Qualifications
- Current and valid driver’s license or State ID (Required).
- Social Security Card or valid green card (Required).
- Proof of automobile insurance.
- CPR card (Required).
- TB test (required within a year and redone annually).
- Health statement/physical (Required; must be done within 6 months of application).
- Level II Background Screening (Required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation (Required).
- Must be at least 18 years old (Required).
- Must provide references (2 work and 1 personal).
- Must work every other weekend (Required).
- Must take and pass the Home Health Aide Competency Test.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
