Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Northern Michigan is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care to seniors and adults, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

You’ll perform personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship. We offer paid training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team focused on making a meaningful difference every day.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Provide medication reminders and safety support.
• Offer companionship and assist with activities and hobbies.

What You’ll Do

As a Caregiver, you’ll provide one-on-one, in-home care that helps clients live safely and independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Supporting hobbies, activities, and social engagement
