Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in Oak Ridge, TN seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for in‑home care under a physician‑established plan. Shifts available seven days a week, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with days and nights.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity with scheduling coordinated with the patient and case manager. Responsibilities include executing physician plans, administering treatments, assessing patients, and coordinating care in a one‑on‑one home setting.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• 2-Step TB test required.
• Experience in clinical care or home health preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
• Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies
• Performs patient assessments, coordination of care
• Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home
• Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one
• Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients
• Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Oak Ridge, TN area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.

Shift: 7 days a week available. 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Days and Nights available.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Requirements

• Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
• Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients
• Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
