Job summary

Legacy Home Care in the Twin Cities area seeks a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care to clients. You will drive to clients' homes, spending at least 2 hours with each, building rapport and assisting with daily living tasks.

Flexible part-time days with opportunities for growth in a family-owned organization. The role requires 1+ year caregiving experience, valid work documentation, a driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 35 miles.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Willing to travel up to 35 miles from your home to clients' homes
• 1+ year of caregiving experience (CNA certification is a plus)
• Ability to pass a multiple-choice caregiving knowledge quiz
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per month

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients' homes, spending at least 2 hours with each client
• Build strong rapport with older adult clients through regular visits
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities
• Help maintain household cleanliness and provide hands-on care like transfers and therapeutic exercises
