Elara Caring Careers is seeking Home Health Aides to support clients in their homes across New York. This role offers flexible scheduling, daily pay options, paid training, and opportunities for career growth while making a meaningful difference in clients' daily lives.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation support as needed. A NY HHA certification, compassionate demeanor, strong communication, and reliable

Qualifications

• HHA certification from NY State required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds).

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and light household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Maintain a safe, respectful home environment.

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance


• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed


• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks


• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life


• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)


• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

What is Required?

• HHA certification is required from the State of New York


• High School Diploma or GED preferred


• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes


• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
