Job summary

Giving Home Health Care, LLC in Metropolis, IL seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care under a physician care plan. This is a 1099 contract with 4 hours weekly, ideal for PRN Part-time work.

You will perform assessments, administer prescribed treatments, monitor vitals, and coordinate with families and clinicians in a one-on-one home setting. CPR/First Aid and TB testing required; prior home health or clinical care experience preferred.

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Metropolis, IL area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan.

This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.

Shifts: 4 hours weekly at this point. Perfect for PRN Part time work.

Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Executes physician prescribed plans of care and compliant documentation of care provided in system of record
• Administers prescribed treatments, and therapies
• Performs patient assessments, coordination of care
• Performs various activities associated with daily living, communications, and monitoring of vitals while working at the patient’s home
• Will be working with patients in a comfortable environment where the service is one-on-one
• Communicates with family members, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of patients
• Performs other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs

Requirements

• Current CPR, First Aid, and 2-Step TB Test
• Prefer experience in a clinical care setting, home health preferred
• Good interpersonal skills
• Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move patients
• Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
