Interim HealthCare seeks a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Greenville, NC, and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible scheduling and work-life balance, putting you in control of your caregiving career.

You will provide personal care and support to clients, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help them stay safe at home. Interim HealthCare emphasizes compassionate care and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active North Carolina HHA registration.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Covid-19 vaccination card.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support so clients live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in hobbies and activities that bring joy.

As a Home Health Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Home Health Aides:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Home Health Aide (HHA) registration in North Carolina
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Covid-19 vaccination card
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
