Job summary

Valley Home Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support individuals in their homes, helping maintain independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Prior patient care experience is helpful, but a strong attitude and sense of responsibility are valued above all.

No certification is required. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and report any changes in a client’s condition to the care team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable individual with patient care mindset.

• Willing to follow HIPAA guidelines and protect client privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.

• Assist with mobility and use of equipment when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain client home cleanliness.

Job description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to support individuals in the comfort of their homes. This role focuses on helping clients maintain independence while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Experience in patient care is helpful, but not required—we value the right attitude and a strong sense of responsibility

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

• Provide companionship and emotional support to create a positive and respectful environment

• Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior

• Assist with mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when needed

• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and general cleaning

• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines when handling client information

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong caregiving abilities, including personal care, cooking, and housekeeping

• Ability to work independently while also communicating effectively with a care team

• Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs

• Commitment to providing high-quality care

• No certification required
