Job summary

Joybridgecare seeks dedicated Home Health Aides to provide personal care and health-related services in clients' homes throughout Georgia. Ideal candidates must have a Georgia HHA certification, a valid driver’s license, and be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean living environment. Morning and evening shifts may be required to accommodate client needs.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed.

Job description

Provide personal care and health-related services in clients' homes under RN supervision. HHAs assist with ADLs, perform delegated health tasks, and serve as the primary eyes and ears of the clinical team.

Department Clinical Services

Reports To RN Supervisor

FLSA Status Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Location Client homes across Georgia

• Assist with all activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Take and record vital signs as directed
• Assist with prescribed exercises and mobility
• Observe and report health status changes
• Maintain a safe and clean home environment

Support Services

• Prepare meals following dietary guidelines
• Provide medication reminders (verbal only)
• Accompany clients to medical appointments

Qualifications

Required

• Georgia HHA certification or equivalent training
• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass GCHEXS fingerprint background check
• CPR/First Aid certification (current)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• 1+ years home health experience
• CNA certification
• Experience with chronic condition management

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Extended standing and walking
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Assist with client transfers
• Fine motor skills for care tasks

Training Provided

• Joy Bridge Care orientation and onboarding
• Agency-specific policies and procedures
• Infection control and safety procedures
• 12 hours annual continuing education
