Visiting Angels Corsicana is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide - HHA to support local seniors in Corsicana and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, help with daily activities, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping in clients' homes.

The role includes opportunities for training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care to help you grow your skills and deliver compassionate, respectful care while coordinating with families and care teams.

Qualificações

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.

• Comfort with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
