Job summary

EmmUcare Home Health seeks dependable caregivers to help clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent at home. You will follow care plans, provide daily tasks, and offer companionship in a local home care setting.

We value training, flexibility, and meaningful connections with clients and families. Prior caregiving experience is welcome but not required, and we provide onboarding and support from the office team.

Qualifications

• Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to assigned visits and the ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client’s care plan and help with tasks such as:
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.

Caregiver / Home Health Aide — Hamburg

Pay, Scheduling, and Benefits

• Starting pay: $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer.
• Biweekly pay.
• Flexible schedule based on your availability and client availability.
