Job summary

CorsoCare is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care to clients across private residences within Livingston County. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility, while maintaining client dignity and comfort.

Role requires willingness to drive up to 45-50 miles, a valid driver’s license, and adherence to care protocols. Training per state requirements will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or elderly care preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population essential.
• Driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Training per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care support to private homes within assigned geographical region.
• Comfortable driving up to an hour (45-50 miles).
• Bathe and clean residents as needed (bed bath, shower, whirlpool).
• Assist with dental care, hair care, nails, makeup, shaving, and eyewear cleaning.
• Assist clients with dressing and maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Make beds, change linens, and tidy rooms.
• Assist with dining and light meal preparation.
• Follow medication administration protocols as identified for each client.
• Assist with toileting and daily living activities; operate safely.
• Record vital signs and report changes to Care Coordinator.
• Transport clients to appointments as requested.
• Provide and participate in activity programming and care routines.
• Complete daily charting during shift using approved abbreviations.
• Follow infection control protocols and universal precautions.
• Adapt to schedule changes during staffing fluctuations.
