Job summary

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, and prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment; a HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior professional experience.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Driver’s license preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving, bathing, and personal care.
• Care for patients by maintaining the home and assisting with routines.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress or problems.
• Engage with patients to support mental health and alertness.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
