Job summary

Ambercare is hiring Home Care Aide - Flex in multiple NM locations, offering a starting wage of $16.50 per hour. The role is on-call for five days per week with 40 hours scheduled and a weekend day required.

Responsibilities include following care plans, personal care tasks, light housekeeping, transportation for errands, and medication assistance. Ideal candidates will be at least 18, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and possess strong communication and compassionate

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; if by car, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Transport client to doctor’s appointments, grocery store and other essential errands.
• Assist client with the self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report any changes in client’s condition.
