Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation; if by car, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• On call for 24 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Call office each morning for assignment.
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Provide or assist with routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition.
• 5 days per week; include at least one weekend day.
• On-call coverage 24 hours.
