Job summary

Almost Family, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Aide to support clients at home in Ohio. You will help with personal care and daily activities, assist with household tasks, and accompany clients to appointments while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Role requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; CPR certification and home care experience are preferred. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire (preferred).
• 6+ months of home care experience (preferred).
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

As the Per Diem Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $13.00 to $20.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
